Climate change is reshaping our world, impacting the lives of us today and generations to come. Extreme weather events not only endanger the health and safety of the next generation but also exacerbate wealth disparities and other social inequalities, even creating "climate refugees" in various parts of the world.
Save the Children has launched "Generation Hope", a five-year global initiative aims at promoting awareness of climate change and wealth inequality issues across nations. The program calls for collective action to build a positive and bright future for children. Through a series of activities, it seeks to raise awareness about climate change among children and youth, encouraging them to speak up for their rights and become drivers of change.
Team Prologue was honored to support the Save the Children Hong Kong's Generation Hope 2024 opening event - Movie Screening and Post-Screening Talk. As a company focused on sustainability issues and promoting child welfare, we provided comprehensive stakeholder engagement, design, and event planning support. Our goal was to contribute our expertise in encouraging the next generation to consider the impacts of climate change and reflect on how to respond through action.

One reflection shared by the speaker was particularly moving:
"We don't need 7M perfect climate activists, what we need is 7M imperfect climate activists."
In the face of climate change, individual efforts may seem insignificant, and maintaining perfect and continuous actions to the highest standards—such as using 100% recyclable products in daily life or becoming a vegetarian—may appear insurmountable. However, by combining the efforts of many, with imperfect individuals taking imperfect small steps, we can gradually achieve substantial changes and sow seeds of hope for future generations. Every small effort is an important step towards a sustainable future!
