On April 1st, 2022, I completed the business registration of Prologue Communications during my lunch hour—a simple act that marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey, without knowing how far we would go.
Today, Prologue turns three. Though still young in our journey, we've learned to walk and run with remarkable speed. Adorning our office feature wall are the three Cs that define our mission—Create, Convey, Connect—principles that appear in every proposal and impact report we deliver, capturing the essence of our business vision and approach.

As I reflect on this entrepreneurial journey, three additional Cs emerge that have shaped our path:
Courage
Confidence
Can-do spirit
These qualities aren't found in overthinking or worry—they're embedded in action.
From Hesitation to Confidence
I vividly remember a pivotal moment in our first windowless office, discussing a potential pitch. Hesitating, I claimed, "I don't know how to execute this. I've never done it before as an agency." My team responded, "If you don't know how to do this in town, who does?" Despite being the only one with relevant experience, I hesitated while my team, with no experience at all, was eager to embrace the challenge. It's worth noting that this account remains active today, having taken us to unimaginable heights and into new business areas we never anticipated.
I've also witnessed with pride as my team members taught themselves new skills to adapt to our evolving business needs and the emerging AI landscape. I saw their early attempts and the starting quality. Today, their deliverables are highly regarded by clients, generating substantial value and leading to one client referral after another.
This can-do spirit demonstrated by my team truly inspired me when I was navigating my own fears.
It took time to find the courage to venture into uncharted territory (as is always the case with "first times" and new business endeavors), to build confidence through repeated execution, and to celebrate results that exceeded expectations. Eventually, that sense of "can-do" spirit emerged.
The lesson learned? True "can-do" spirit resides in action, not in over-thinking or worry. While thinking contributes to ideation and direction, only doing results in actualization and impact.
Having the courage, confidence, and can-do spirit to attempt new things isn't about ignorance or arrogance. Rather, it's recognizing that "I don't know" can become a convenient excuse for not daring to try.
There was a critical juncture when we stopped worrying about our inexperience in numerous areas. Since then, we've journeyed far from those fearful beginnings.
Beyond Comfort Zones and the Beauty of Teamwork
Today, Prologue comprises a diverse team bringing a breadth of expertise. We proudly offer a comprehensive suite of services spanning research, advocacy, public relations, advertising, event management, secretariat support, publication, design, videography, issue management, training, and more.
It's gratifying to realize that many of these service areas extend beyond my personal expertise—a testament to our collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous learning. I firmly believe each team member can grow and excel in their professional journey as we deliver on our three Cs of vision while embodying the virtues of courage, confidence, and can-do spirit.
I cherish every project we undertake, remain hungry for new opportunities, and above all, am profoundly grateful for the trust placed in us by our valued clients and partners—who believed in our capabilities even before I fully did.
Thank you!
Together, we look forward to defining your Prologue.
